LAHORE – Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has decided to quit the portfolios of Higher Education, Tourism and Sports.
In a statement here on Tuesday, the minister said that he would hold the portfolio of the schools education only. Mashhood said that he had also written a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif about the decision.
He said that promotion of education at schools level was a responsibility and he wanted to discharge it in an efficient manner. He said that he would spend all his energies for the promotion of education at schools level and continue to work for the success of educational vision of the chief minister.
The minister said that secret of resolution of every problem of Pakistan lies in the promotion of education.
